Manolas is going to re-sign his contract with Roma

Kostas Manolas is very close to signing a new contract with Roma, but there is one condition. The Greek defender will have very low surrender clause - 30 million euros.

According to `Corriere dello Sport` the months of negotiating between the club and the player will end very soon. The current contract of Manolas is until the summer of the year 2019, as that will be extended by a further two seasons. The defender will receive a salary of 2.5 million euros per season, plus additional bonuses.

However, the 26-year-old national of Greece will be able to leave Roma if a foreign club via football predictions offers 30 million euros. In the summer, Manolas was before a transfer to Zenit St. Petersburg. The Russians had been willing to give 40 million euros to Roma and 4 million euros as a salary of the defender, who, however, refused the offer at the last minute.
